We would very much like your tour group to have a quality experience at the Garden. For this reason, all groups who wish to visit the Garden must be booked in advance. In order to avoid confusion and double booking, we prefer that the reservation be made by the local tour company.
Guiding in English may only be done by our own Garden Tomb guides.
Groups not speaking English may be guided by their local licensed guide. Alternatively, you may request to have one of our guides conduct the tour with translation.
After the tour of the Garden, the group's tour leader may address his / her group in one of our meeting areas. A reservation for one of these spots needs to be made in advance of your visit. Please note that we only make reservations for a meeting area in general; the specific site may not be requested in advance and will be assigned once you arrive at the Garden.
It is essential that your group arrives at the time arranged, otherwise you may find yourselves unable to visit the Garden - especially at busy times!
There is no charge for entry to the Garden Tomb nor for communion. We therefore depend on the gifts of our visitors to support the maintenance and ministry of the Garden. If your group is allocated a meeting place after your tour, a basket will be provided on your communion table for this purpose. Alternatively, for those coming for a tour only, there are gift boxes located near the entrance and exit.
Everyone is welcome at the Garden Tomb, whether part of a tour group or not. Self-guide leaflets will be made available at the reception window. You are also welcome to join one of our guided groups; if you wish to participate in a guided tour of the Garden, it is adviasble to arrive a few minutes before the half hour as groups are scheduled at thirty minute intervals.
We have an on-line booking form available on this website, which once completed will be sent automatically through to us. Bookings could be made by fax (02-627-2742) or telephone (02-539 8100); if by fax then it is essential that you include a fax number or e-mail address, so that we can send our confirmation to you.
If your group wants to have a tour only (with no meeting afterwards), group bookings can be made on or between the following times (on the half hours): 9:00-11:00 & 14:00-17:00.
If your group wishes to have a tour and a time of worship afterwards, booking times are slightly more restricted: 9:00-11:00 & 14:00-16:30.
Please note though that 11.00 and 16.30 are only possible for small groups. Larger groups need to arrange an earlier time if they wish to have communion.
We look forward to welcoming your group!
